 Dia ghuit/ Hello
My name is Dorothy ÓTuama

Doireann Uí Thuama is anam dom

Since 2016, I have been blessed to be able to offer exclusive farm-to-table tours of the Lynch family's

Farm, Ireland’s premier water buffalo farm and cheese-making enterprises..

I strive to create unique, fun, and tasty

experiences in this region of South West Ireland known as Gaeltacht Mhúscraí.

I  love to share our local heritage and culture as I grew up over the road from the farm.

I was born into the family of John and Lily O'Sullivan,  Inchigeelagh

whose descendants hailed from Tír na Spideoga, Iveleary parish,

Inchigeela, Castlemagner villages, and Gortnakilla Pier on Sheep's Head,

south of Bantry town.

My parents were the second  O'Sullivan generation to  manage  the Lake Hotel

Inchigeela, built in 1810, had a large family of eleven children. You could say I was born

into the Hotel, Catering, and Tourism industry. From when we were young

children and hanging around in the  kitchen too much, Dad used to say

" Go out  to the hotel reception  and meet the people"

Like many chefs, I achieved a goal of successfully owning and cooking in my own

restaurant for many years in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Cooking and preparing simply delicious food using the very best ingredients

produced nearby is a cause very close to my heart.

Other even more important things in my life are my own  family of four,

my home place, Buffalo farming and animal welfare ,  food service,

music and meeting new people every day.

Hope to meet you there, Slán go fóill/ Bye for now,
